Privacy Policy

Kamil Collectibles Pty Ltd collects only the personal information needed to sell and deliver your order, and we never sell it. This policy follows the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

What we collect

The personal information we may collect includes:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Billing address;
  • Shipping address;
  • Order details;
  • Payment and transaction information;
  • Customer support messages (including pictures and videos);
  • Marketing preferences;
  • IP address, device information, browser type, and website usage data.

How we use your information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store, and only what they need:

  • Payment processors: [e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Afterpay]
  • Couriers: [e.g. Australia Post] for delivery
  • Website and email platforms: [e.g. Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp]
  • Analytics: [e.g. Google Analytics]

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to investigate fraud or a disputed payment. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Overseas storage

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in [the United States, Canada]. We use reputable providers with their own privacy and security obligations.

Marketing emails

We send marketing emails (new releases, restocks, pre-order openings) only if you opt in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we action requests within 5 business days. Order and shipping emails are not marketing and are always sent.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep your cart and login working, and to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but checkout may not work without them.

Security and retention

We use secure, encrypted checkout and limit access to your information to people who need it. We keep order records for 5 years to meet tax obligations, then delete or de-identify them. Claim photos and videos are deleted [12 months] after the claim closes.

Access, correction and complaints

  1. You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or to delete your account, by emailing support@kamicollectibles.com.au. We respond within 30 days. We will ask for identity verification as personal identifiable information is highly sensitive.
  2. If you think we have mishandled your information, email us first and we will reply within 30 days.
  3. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Customers under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission to buy.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the new version here, with its effective date: 30 September 2026.
